Maseru Backpackers

Located 3km from the heart of Maseru, Maseru Backpackers is a self contained hosted by our partner organisation the Lesotho Durham link and is situated on the shores of the Maqalika Lake, overlooking the Lancer's Gap. the Site offers a great night's peaceful sleep. The perfect base for exploring The Mountain Kingdom.

You can choose from range of accommodation - from our luxury Rondavel, or perhaps a twin or family room, to small dormitories and camping. You can cook your own meals in our communal kitchen or breakfast, lunch and dinner can be provided. There is access to the Internet on-site and a laundry service is also available.

Accommodation
The Luxury Rondavel is built in traditional Basotho style and allows spectacular views over the lake. The Rondavel has 2 bedrooms - 1 double and 1 twin, together with a lounge and bathroom. It is fully equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay.

<The Backpackers Dormitory provides accommodation in rooms of 2 to 8 beds. Whether on your own, staying as a family, or in a group you will fit into our comfortable rooms. Linen is provided. There is a shared self catering kitchen or meals can be provided in our Dining Room. There is also a communal shower / toilet block.


The Campsite has pitches for over 20 tents on a terraced site overlooking the lake.
